COSTING-SITE SURVEYS & INSTALLATION
There are two parts to the cost of artificial grass – Supply and Installation. Our landscape artificial grass ranges from £15-£30/m2 depending on what product you pick this price is (Supply Only)
Installation cost will depend on size, access and groundwork requirements. We can give you an estimate by email, provided you have the full measurements (Length & Width) we also ensure you are fully visible of the products technical specifications ensuring the product you pick is the correct product for your needs.
# 1. Firstly: we provide a supply only and delivery service, you will order your grass online and PIMCO will deliver your product, we support a free installation brochure for ease of installation, we can also supply all fitting accessories needed for your installation (Batons: Screws: Membrane: (Adhesive-if needed) silk sand et-cetra) all this can be ordered online via our user friendly website service.
# 2. Secondly: We provide free no obligation site surveys in order to give you an accurate installation quotation for your project. Our site team will measure your site and prepare a free no obligation quotation covering all costs for garden Remodel / Design or just Supply & Installation.
We have to assess your property (garden only) to do the site survey, no survey will be carried out unless the owner of the property is at home or gives permission to enter the site area. We will measure the ground conditions, check levels and bring some samples from our product range of artificial grass.
Artificial Grass needs to have an edging. We usually use decorative ornamental sleepers or garden decorative edging. We will explain all to you and show you products and pictures of other projects completed.
GORUNDWORK & SITE PREPARATION
Our installation method includes excavating the existing ground to a minimum depth of 100mm and we dispose of the waste. Installing a sub-base of porous materials because it is vital to ensure that water drains effectively through the lawn and that the lawn stays stable for many years to come. We then fit and secure a skirting of formwork (Tanalised Batons as an alternative) lay membranes, lay approximately 70mm of hardcore and 30mm of blinding quarry dust. This is levelled, screened and compacted using specialist equipment.
ARTIFICIAL GRASS INSTALLATION
After the groundwork is completed, the artificial grass is ready to be fitted. For the best visual results, the artificial turf must be laid in the correct orientation. Our experienced installers ensure the grass is cut neatly into place and fixed securely.
Rolls of artificial grass are supplied 4m wide and certain products 2m wide. If your garden is wider than this, two pieces are joined together using joining tape and a special artificial grass adhesive. This procedure requires skill and experience to ensure the seam is invisible after installation.

We will be very happy to quote you a competitive delivery price for these areas which are not included within our standard delivery charge of £35 For all other products supplied by PIMCO (The Artificial Grass Company) not ordered at the same time as a cut grass order i.e. PIMCO (The Artificial Grass Company) Membrane Adhesive, Joining Tape, U Pins etc, orders placed before 3pm will be delivered usually next day @ £16.95 Certain small items will be sent via Royal Mail @ £5.95 Prices include loss & damage insurance and are inclusive of V.A.T
You will receive a confirmation email from PIMCO (The Artificial Grass Company) when you place your order. If you need to arrange specific date for delivery, please email us after you have placed your order with your preferred date. If you would like your order to be left with a neighbor this can be arranged. 0.5m 1.0m 2m 4m & 5m widths are quite long for one person to carry safely, so drivers may need assistance in unloading your grass successfully. Again, this must be arranged prior to delivery
Deliveries will be to the main entrance to your premises, the driver is not permitted to enter your premises. (The handling of the artificial grass is heavy & the roll cannot be bent; it may be easier to leave it outside until ready to be fitted) You must inform us of any parking or access difficulties that may be encountered. We will pass this information on to the delivery company. If access is not possible for any reason the carrier will unload at the nearest possible location. (Single drivers with no handling equipment may be used, therefore they may not be able to carry your artificial grass far from the place of unloading) It will be necessary for the driver to obtain a signature for this delivery
We are unable to give a precise delivery time unless it has been agreed by telephone. As we have no control over the deliveries after they leave our warehouse, we cannot be held responsible for delivery delays & no compensation will be payable by ourselves.
Your Synthetic grass will be delivered in a transit wheelbase vehicle big enough for the width of the grass roll 0.5m 1.0m 2m 4m & 5m widths, this will ensure the grass is not bent in any way. If you are having installation provided, then there will be no issues as we Install deliver and excavate the area ourselves. Any estimates as to delivery are given in good faith but are only estimates and they are not guaranteed times and should not be relied upon as such. Time is not of the essence of the contract and we will not accept liability for any losses unless we fail to deliver within a reasonable time. Please check that the goods you receive are the ones you ordered, the correct color and size, and that they are examined for apparent faults or damage at the time of delivery and before installation/assembly. If on inspection you have any doubts, please contact us immediately and do not sign for the goods.
PLEASE DO NOT SIGN FOR THE ARTIFICIAL GRASS IF YOU FEEL IT HAS BEEN BENT OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY
If you provide the driver with a signature you are accepting the goods have been delivered in perfect condition. We will not be able to make a claim on your behalf for damages if the freight company can provide us with a copy of your signature. In all cases genuine complaints will be dealt with in good faith, but your rights may be adversely affected if you do not contact us as soon as possible. CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (as amended 2005) By purchasing over the internet or by telephone you are entering into a “Distance Sale”. In addition to your normal statutory rights as a consumer you also have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 14 days after the date your order is delivered to you. This right does NOT apply to products specifically made to your specifications and this includes our floor surfaces which have been cut from a roll to your specific order size.
Where the Goods are faulty or do not comply with any of the contract, the customer must notify the supplier within 14 days of delivery and the customer shall be entitled to replacement goods or a full refund. In line with distance trading regulations cut to length orders can only be returned if found to be faulty.
You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods until the end of any cooling off period. In order to satisfy this requirement, you must ensure that any sealed goods remain sealed until the end of any cooling off period, and they must remain in the same condition as purchased. If your order has not been delivered and you wish to cancel your order, please contact us. If the goods are excluded from your right to cancel (see previous paragraph) we will find out whether or not they have already been cut to your specifications and if not, we will accept a cancellation of your order and refund your money.
When your goods have been delivered you have a reasonable opportunity to make sure that they are the goods you have ordered. If not, you should not cut into, fit, or use them (other than to check whether or not they are the right goods). Flooring products cannot be returned if they have been cut , glued or installed in any way. You should retain the packaging so that this can be reused, if possible, for their return. You will be responsible for the condition of the goods and for their reasonable care whilst they are in your possession. Call our office within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for the collection of the goods without charge and replace with the correct goods. This only applies to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. Where to date we have not had one return.
